A calm presence and positive encouragement through the toughest miles.

Optional race-day content, behind-the-scenes footage, and short-form videos.

02 / THE RACES

BYU & regular
ultras.

The formats ask for different things. I'll learn your race, your plan, and the course before you arrive—then work the details around it.

BYU

BACKYARD ULTRAS

One-hour loops, one mile at a time, until one runner is left. The race doesn't finish—you just have to be ready for the next loop.

  • Loop timing you never have to think about
  • A bottle, food, and shoes waiting at the line
  • Gear reset and changed between every loop
  • A clear head when loop 20 feels like loop 2

REG

REGULAR ULTRAS

50K, 50-miler, 100K, 100 miles—and anything longer, including 200-milers and multi-day races—point-to-point, out-and-back, or multi-loop, with aid stations spread out ahead of you.

  • Aid-station timing and drop bags placed to your plan
  • Pacing where the race permits pacers
  • Fueling and hydration run on your schedule
  • Cooling, changes, and fixes handled before you ask

03 / ONE MORE YARD

Backyard Ultras.
Every loop matters.

Preparation. Consistency. Recovery. I understand the rhythm of a Backyard Ultra—and how small details make a big difference when the hours stack up.

  • Stay on schedule between loops
  • Keep fueling and hydration consistent
  • Have your gear ready when you need it
  • Recover efficiently between yards
  • Stay focused and make smart decisions

04 / HOW IT WORKS

From first email
to finish line.

Every race has its own rhythm. Together, we'll build a plan around your course, your fueling, and your goals—then put it into action on race day.

50K to 100 miles and beyond—point-to-point, out-and-back, or multi-loop, with aid stations spread out ahead of you.

01

Reach out

Send an email with your race, the date, and the distance. I'll reply with my availability and the details we need to plan.

02

We plan

We map your aid stations and drop bags to your plan, set your fueling and hydration schedule, and agree where I'll meet you on course.

03

On course

You run. I work the aid stations—bottles mixed, gear ready, cooling and fixes handled before you ask.

05 / YOUR CREW

Hey, I'm Adam.

RUNNER. COACH. CREW. CREATOR.

I'm Adam Hettel, an ultra runner, endurance athlete, and content creator based in Ohio. I know how demanding an ultra can be—not just physically, but mentally.

I wrestled and played football, and I'm in my sixth year of fitness coaching. That background taught me the mental side of hard endeavors—how to stay with it when the body wants out, and how to keep a clear head late in the day.

For races that allow pacers, I can help you maintain your pace, move through a difficult section, or keep pushing late in the race. I'll work around your strategy and goals, not force you into someone else's plan.

As a TikTok creator, I can also capture your ultra journey with race-day footage and behind-the-scenes moments. More than someone at an aid station—someone who understands the sport and the community.
